What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players report significant technical and gameplay issues that severely hamper the experience, including broken quests that don't recognize completed objectives, non-functional combat mechanics where attacks won't connect, and overall incomplete core systems. While some see potential in the dungeon-crawling concept and multiplayer foundation, most criticize the lack of polish, generic art direction, unintuitive controls, and minimal content, with several finding it unplayable beyond a few minutes and not worth the time investment in its current state.
Started the game, bought starter gear and pickaxe. Got the quest to get starter gear and pickaxe. Existing ones didn't count. No more gold. Deleting character is not an option. Uninstalled.8 found this helpful
Doesn't even work.2 found this helpful
I want to start out by saying: Just because a game is free, that does not mean it has the right to be this awful and soulless. I have seen too many people say that there was so much time and effort put into this... Yeah there is no effort in this whatsoever. The only way this "game" could have taken around a year is if the engine itself was created from scratch, then after it was finished, they only came back to it every week for about five minutes each time. There is no effort, there is no way this took any less than a collective week, do not believe the lies and do not play it. The animations do not work, they would not look nice even if they did. The artstyle is the most generic of all fantasy-based games on steam. You start as an ugly character, and apparently there is a character creator but you have to actually play a chunk of the "game" to unlock that. Otherwise known as, they did not know how to put it at the start of the "game", and instead of putting in the effort to learn, they took the lazy way out to make a clunky barely-working editor later into the "game." Second worse game I have ever spent my time on.1 found this helpful
seems pretty cool with a lot of considerations and relative level of polish. I couldn't ever get my punches to connect with an enemy so I'll check back later on it1 found this helpful
I'm gonna leave a positive review ONLY because I definitely see the potential for a really cool unique game. There is a LOT to do before it's there though. As of now I wouldn't recommend buying it unless your okay with the idea of buying it as an investment in hopes the dev pulls through. Its playable as of now but not for more than like 10-15 minutes. The combat and controls are unintuitive and uncomfortable and there isn't enough of a base game yet for there to be any variety in gameplay or progression. However dungeon games are always cool when done right and the fundamentals definitely seem like they'll be really cool when finished especially multiplayer.1 found this helpful
Played this game with Jeep a few months back. We both think that this game is just heavily incomplete. There is barely any story, which is a core part of RPG. The enemies are very clunky and easy to mess (they literally shut down like a PC) amidst other disappointing mechanics. Still needs a lot more work.
