This game is really good. I went in not knowing what to expect and ended up pleasantly surprised by how deep it is. There’s way more going on than I thought, and it strikes a great balance between challenge and fun. I still haven’t beaten it, but honestly, that doesn’t feel like the point. It had me laughing one minute and stressed the next, juggling everything I needed to do. Every time I figured something new out and pushed a little further, it felt genuinely satisfying.

This game has so many layers to it. If you focus too much on driving, keeping the headlights on, checking the backseat, you'll neglect your objectives and slowly go crazy (death). If you focus too much on the objectives, you'll likely get home too late, forget to check the backseat, or crash into a tree, (death). And don't get me started on the phone dropping mechanic :0 There's this dance the game forces the player to make - to balance all of the things it throws at you, and as you play and die, and retry, and restart, over and over, you feel yourself master it little by little, and you feel yourself level up, almost like playing an instrument. There's also a ton of little details you can hunt for, and getting all of the achievements is a whole other story. 10/10!

I found this game through a YouTube video of someone playing it and decided to try it for myself. The challenges actually looked really fun, and I wanted to beat them lol I'm a big indie horror fan, and I really liked the vibe of this game. The atmosphere is creepy without constantly throwing jump scares at you, and the challenges ended up being one of my favorite parts. They're really satisfying to beat, especially after a few failed attempts. It also never felt repetitive, which I appreciated. I've played a lot of indie horror games. and this one def has its own unique charm. If you're into indie horror games, I'd definitely recommend trying this one. I had a lot of fun with it, and I'm excited to see what the developer makes next :)

Overall a fun game to test out and run through. Lots of different elements and things that happen. Gameplay does get redundant and moderately annoying, just feels like work more than fun with having to manage your phone use while driving home. Gameplay is a 7/10, Graphics are 6/10 for the style, Controls are 6/10, Settings are 7/10, Engagement is 3/10. Couple of jumpscare moments. Wish I wasn't on my phone the entire time and trying to click my headlights vs just enjoying the driving and things happening on the road. If this game was slowed down by half the pace as far as things being thrown at you, it would be significantly more enjoyable.

Driversion is an intense point-and-click/driving game that demands the player use every single wrinkle in their brain if they intend to beat it. It is indeed a long drive home and you will need to fight for your life the entire drive. The punishing yet tight game system will have you balancing your sanity, tiredness and the damage to your car as you tear down the road towards home. The real joy of this game is slowly unraveling it's mechanics so you can gain enough of an edge to make it a little farther every time. Its a fantastic "one more try" game that test your ability to multi task, heart racing and drenched in sweat. Just don't ask me how long it took me to finally get home.
