About Due Process

✦ AI summary

DUE PROCESS is a tactical FPS where procedurally generated maps force you to adapt your strategy every round, making teamwork and communication the difference between victory and defeat. Play as either a corporate assault force or resourceful outlaws with asymmetric playstyles, where destroyed gear is permanently gone and every decision in the planning phase sets the tone for chaotic firefights that demand split-second coordination.

DUE PROCESS is a tactical FPS where tactics finally matter. Planning & teamwork are essential for victory because every map is procedurally generated. You'll be faced with a new challenge every time you play.
Fresh maps make Due Process great. Levels are built in-house via a procedurally assisted level generation process and are delivered periodically via steam update, which means you won't be playing on the same stale level. Our level designers edit each level before it goes out and are constantly trying new concepts.
Teamwork starts with a goal. Discuss your strategy over voice chat, and use the planning phase to draw up a plan of attack. Deploy your assets wisely over the course of three rounds, as anything fielded from your armory won't come back if destroyed or lost.
No plan survives first contact. The plan is a start, but you're going to have to think on your feet and coordinate with your team when things go awry. Getting your teammate to open fire to cover your footsteps just might secure you the element of surprise.
Play as two distinct factions with radically different playstyles and capabilities. Asymmetric warfare at its finest.
A corporate military force contracted with enforcing indefinite martial law. Armed with the best tactical gear and weapons for a CQB environment. Speed, surprise, and violence of action are the essential elements of good execution. Once a plan is made, move forward with purpose, either by systematically eliminating the opposition room by room, or by striking swiftly at the heart of the defense.
A rag-tag band of outlaws who oppose the corporations by any means necessary. Their weapons and gear are relics and rudimentary, but are not to be underestimated. Cunning is their strength. Anticipate what the enemy is planning, then set up the kill zone. Lay traps, coordinate crossfire with your team, and exploit breaks in the attack to flank the enemy and bring a decisive end to the fight.

I wish more people played this banger tactical shooter, its more fun than CS and Val and r6. The art direction and game design is awesome. Unfortunately you will need a group of friends to play this game as there are very few active players.

I love the game but cannot recommend it. It's dead. Dead as hell. As dead as a game can be. And it pains me. Such a good, fun and solid game dead due to being completely in the shadows... y'all devs need to make free weekends and start promoting the game, if not... it will stay in this state (dev hell maybe) forever and it'll never shine with its potential! I'd love to be able to play again yet playerbase is non existent. Please, for the love of god, if yall wont make the game free, START PROMOTING IT. Sad.

I am incredibly conflicted while writing this. This game, is like no other. this game continues to bring me joy, every single time I get the chance to play alongside others. While I want to suggest this game and I make active effort to inform others of this dead game. I am only one man, I can only do so much. I reach out in the discord to make contact with the devs to see if I may contribute in nearly any way possible to help promote this game. And get a response from a less than enthusiastic dev who is pretty low on the leader totem pole. I ask, where is the lead at? basically doesn't even interact with the community. I do notice the devs have put the game on sale, But with no promo who is going to know about an old ass game that I saw in development since it looked like roblox and the node team 5v5'd the devs. I was so excited for this game only to watch it crumble DUE (process) to many reasons. One primary being the lead dev is MIA and the game gets no traction due to a lack of support. Updates, great! still in early access. The game is on sale! YES! the game has no promo and there is no one to play against to rebuild the player base. All I can wish or do is to recreate this…

if this game had a more active playerbase it would be one of the best tactical shooters out there, but you can still have fun with friends despite how dead it is

Make the game Free to Play!!!!! Great simple game, but dead playerbase. Would be great to play this again but it's simply unplayable without other players. Otherwise would love to recommend this if the steamDB playerbase is consistently above 200 players concurrent.
