Dungeon Manager ZV 2

If you came here looking for dungeon manager 1 with more graphics you might get disapointed. This is more of a solve the puzzle game than a dig and build and upgrade your minions game. I'm still on the fence about it.

I absolutely love this game. Can't get enough and already 80.4 hours in.

Screen resolutions don't work. Moves / resizes open windows and resets PC resolution!

Dungeon Manager ZV 2 is the sequel to Dungeon Manager ZV and the essence of the game, and the problems with it, remain the same, with the exception of a little more graphics and you can lay out a bit of a dungeon map. For that reason I'll put an edited version of my review with updates to reflect the ongoing problems with this series. Dungeon Manager ZV 2 is an overly complicated Japanese imported version of Dungeon Keeper only without the graphics. Also you get to be a Manager which is probably thanks to all your hard work as a Dungeon Clerk and Dungeon Assistant Manager. If you work hard enough you could become a Dungeon Senior Manager and that would be pretty cool. Jokes aside I have no idea what's going on here. The Japanese translation is just vague enough it almost makes enough sense that you could try to play the game, but not quite. There's no actual graphics, this is more of a spreadsheet RPG/management game. The resolution is fixed and the game doesn't properly fill the screen in full screen mode. I liked the other games in this series, but this one got too far away from the formula. Instead of managing the dungeon, now you have to run around with a character and fight incoming invaders too. There's also not as much flexibility in this game as there was in the others. It's more like a puzzle/tower defense game. Maybe some people would like this, but I like their other games better.
