Pros: -Good character design for heroine -Underutilized game genre Cons: -Loss of autonomy -Some questionable character design and game design decisions So, let me start this review by saying I really struggled on whether to recommend the game or not. In the end, I went with the do not recommend option, which for me translates as probably 2.0 to 2.5 stars out of 5. Further, this is NOT a terrible game . . . it just wasn't quiet what I was looking for, even amongst the genre. So, on the genre, with the patch, this is an adult, NTR focused fantasy rpg . . . possibly dark fantasy, though other than the bits about war and societal dystopia stuff I didn't really see enough to tip it into that category in my opinion. Regardless, clearly only play this game with the patch if you want to view the adult and NTR stuff. This game is NTR, as stated in the description of the game. I kind of find it hard to call this a "game", but rather a more interactive visual novel. The gamplay has combat and walking around the city. Not much to do in the city except maybe find some clues or triggering events so you can get cucked, but still get a happy ending by marrying the receptionist (at least in one of the playthroughs). There is combat, though you practically start in max level and all fights are super easy, which is where it starts to support my opinion of this being more of a visual novel. There is a lot of text. The scenes are fine. Nothing special, nothing bad. But are they worth buying this game for? No. 4/10. I could comment more about the combat, but I don't want to.

This game seems to be designed to be played through multiple times on multiple paths. My first playthrough took about 5 hours and there is at least 3 more obvious routes to experience. Throughout the playthough you get 'bad feelings' about possible things happening to your initial love interest, which the player can decide to view or not depending on how they want to experience the game (from the POV of the MC or not). The NTR in this game I would consider 'hardcore' because of how brutally the MC was treated, at least from the path I took. However the MC also enjoyed their own happy ending despite it not being the outcome he was expecting or originally wanting. Gameplay wise, the battles really don't mean anything, your character is already very powerful making most fights very easy, you gain no experience or money from battles and are encouraged to focus on the 'boss' (in most events). Decisions may affect outcomes but typically they're not too impactful on the outcome of the path chosen. Although it's possible that I missed something that would have prevented losing the love interest to 'another guy', perhaps I'll figure that out on additional playthroughs. The H-art is alrigh…
