Welcome to edataconsulting offices!
We have the pleasure to invite you to take a virtual visit to our office at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Take your VR device and wander around our second home.
We have modeled our facilities for you to learn a bit more about us and get to know a bit about the projects we carry out.
- Move around freely using the controllers from your VR device to teleport or walk around naturally if you have a big room scale available.
- Enjoy the wonderful sights of the port from our city and discover an experience very close to reality with some hidden Easter Eggs.
- Interact with the environment, see what we are working on by checking our computers or take notes with the markers on the whiteboards.
- Reach the meeting room to play a video of our AR space planner tool on the big screen. Also, use the computer in the VR area to experience our project Indus-VR. Yes! VR inside of VR.
- Find the playroom and use physics to interact with the environment.
Don't worry, there is a little tutorial at the beginning and even if you are new to VR experiences, you will get the grip of everything very quickly.

Edataconsulting VR Office is a Free tech demo and ad for this company. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has stuff to interact with scattered all over the office space. It is good as a starter VR game. CONS: Does Not work with Index controllers. Try it and delete it.2 found this helpful

"edataconsulting VR Office" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, "edataconsulting VR Office" is a software application that presents a VR representation of a struggling I/T consultant in Germany. Probably struggling because they've resorted to publish garbage VR apps as if they are games on Steam in a desperate attempt to market their services. So yeah, this is not a game, but it is an advertisement. Corpos will not stop abusing Steam for marketing purposes. And there's a real serious problem with this garbage. Imagine if [i]every single business in the world[/i] decided to publish a crap asset flipped virtual office advert into the games section of Steam. The pollution from this would be endless. So why is this okay in this nasty little example of the pollution to come? It's not okay. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Игра 'edataconsulting VR Office' - интересный, хоть и нишевый, опыт. Виртуальный офис позволяет погрузиться в рабочую атмосферу, не выходя из дома. Интерактивности, к сожалению, маловато: можно перемещаться по комнатам, осматривать окружение, но полноценной деятельности, как, например, в 'Job Simulator', нет. Графическое исполнение довольно реалистичное для VR, хотя и без особых изысков. Оптимизация хорошая, лагов не замечено. Чувствуется, что проект разрабатывался скорее как демонстрация возможностей, чем полноценная игра. Не хватает более глубокой интеграции с рабочими инструментами, возможности взаимодействовать с коллегами в VR и большего количества заданий/миссий. В текущем виде это скорее любопытный эксперимент, чем замена реальному офису. Но потенциал у проекта есть. Если разработчики продолжат развивать идею, добавив больше функций и интерактива, 'edataconsulting VR Office' может стать полезным инструментом для удаленной работы. Пока что, твердая четверка с натяжкой.
