Summary
Einar is a single-player 3rd person hack and slash based on Norse mythology. The player takes on the role of Einar, who is on a quest to kill the inhabitants of a Norse fishing village who are infected by a mysterious material. Use different weapons such as the bow, hammer and axe to clear the village of the monsters.

DreamPunks is game development studio from Breda, The Netherlands.
Einar was developed by a group of 40 students of the NHTV University of Applied Sciences in Breda, the Netherlands. During the course of one academic year, a group of developing artists, programmers and designers worked on the game with a single vision: making a short but beautiful and engaging game of AAA-quality.

Extremely buggy and unpolished.
game is incomplete and jank asf. says it has "Complex AI" to attack you from "unexpected angles" the only thing unexpected is when an enemy gets stuck over 50 ft away from you and then teleports directly behind you and 1-shot's you. Claims to have AAA quality which may either be a way to get people to play the game OR could be a dig at how bad AAA games have been recently (which would actually be hilarious). all the noises are generic and sound like a random soundboard bite rather than actual properly edited audio, multiple enemies were found to be monoposed and the melee is extremely basic with maybe 2 animations for each of the 3 different attack types. there are also cutscenes every 10 minutes.
Fun little free game. Mess around for a couple hours.

Игра "Einar" - небольшая, но захватывающая приключенческая головоломка, погружающая в атмосферу скандинавской мифологии. Графика выполнена в минималистичном стиле, но это не мешает ей передавать ощущение суровой северной природы и древних тайн. Понравилось, что головоломки логичные и не требуют интуитивных угадываний. Каждая новая локация предлагает уникальные испытания, заставляя думать и применять различные механики. Сюжет, хотя и не является ключевым элементом, добавляет мотивации проходить дальше, раскрывая историю персонажа, затерянного в этом мире. Управление удобное и интуитивно понятное. Единственным небольшим минусом является некоторая монотонность музыкального сопровождения, хотя оно и хорошо вписывается в общую атмосферу. В целом, игра оставляет приятное впечатление и идеально подходит для тех, кто любит медитативные головоломки и скандинавскую тематику. Рекомендую к ознакомлению, особенно по скидке!
