Warning
I am a player who likes to try and solve games. If you're just looking to shut your brain off entirely, ignore this review as my focus is on gameplay systems and how they work. I also won't talk about the unfinished translation as parts of the game are not in English. I will also slot in (see : x) to tell you that this idea is discussed properly in a later part of the review.

Initial Rambling
Elements and Build is fundamentally a fun game that borrows ideas from autobattlers and tower defense games. It also manages to sneak in some original ideas through the tower combinations. However it's incredibly uncreative at a strategic level (see : strategic breakdown) and was likely designed by somebody who wasn't very good at the afformentioned genres. (see : talent tree discussion) What it does right is present a cute, approachable game for beginners who don't mind a slow early game grind to unlock the upgrades needed to consistently win. The towers that attack are fun to use and when you force a specific type of towers will grant bonuses that feel good to use. The levels are varied and fun, with novel ideas present across them, whic…12 found this helpful
Unbalanced and dev has not done anything to improve since release. The ways how everything work is very confusing and help or information hard to come by. Not much replay value in this one. Get it on sale.1 found this helpful
Cool game, auto chess x Tower defense and Roguelite. Here is everything you need to know: https://youtu.be/QEb5KWzxwRc But in short, english transation seems fixed so those reviews are old. It's overwhelming though will take you a bit to get a hang of the dept. But that also gives it long term potential.1 found this helpful
might consider getting it again if it doesn't heat up my laptop from time to time
Chơi giải trí rất hay, nhưng cũng có độ khó nếu không kết hợp đúng các nguyên tố để mở hiệu ứng thì không qua nổi màn chơi. Game rất đáng chơi.
It's simple and fun enough. You do auto chess style rolling to try and level up your spells and clear the waves. In between turns you will get to choose rewards to place down in your territory, and i have to be honest, with a lot of them, i have no idea what the description is trying to tell you. So there's a high chance I was using them wrong. There's synergies you can build, but I found that they were not visually impact enough for me to care. It would be cool if there was more visual effects about how your spells are working together. Sometimes the spell which did the most damage for the round, barely did any visual at all. Still it's definitely a fun little time waster if you like tower defence games. I did my first little play through on video (I'm much better now) incase you want to see gameplay: https://youtu.be/fh4WgA9a454
