This has been a hard game for me, as it has been for many players, because we are in the process of or have already lost loved ones to Dementia/Alzheimer's. My Mom lost me within her disease just 2 weeks ago. That was a very tough visit, for both of us. But this game holds appeal for others, as well. Those who simply enjoy puzzles. even a bit of strategy, as you decide what you want to work on... decorating your room, to give you a tangible foothold in the here and now. Or will you work on your portraits, to help you sharpen your skills at your puzzle solving? It really is rather entertaining. I hope you enjoy it.

The puzzles are blurred and so you ahve to rely on matching textures rather than the image itself. You upgrade the points you make from placing pieces after each puzzle and you can choose different things to put into, while building the room around you and piecing together your memory. I don't particularly like story in games so I mostly didn't pay attention to any of it. UPDATE: This game bugged halfway through to where it set me back at the beginning. I loved playing this game. The music is so relaxing and the puzzles are fun, even challenging at times especially when there is a timed option to get as many pieces correctly on the board in a row. The more memories you unlock, the more you can decorate the room and find out about Maya. You can take your time over each puzzle and enjoy the story at your own pace. There is a in gaem currency that you can use to unlock items in Maya's room which are gained from playing each puzzle as quickly and accurately as you can. The faster you put in correct pieces, the more bonus currency you get as a streak. I did find that I had to take a few breaks and not play for too long as it strained my eyes, but this is a me issue because of photophobia and working on a computer all day at work. Despite that, it hasn't stopped me playing or enjoying the game. I look forward to seeing more from this developer.
