Difficult with no handholding, but VERY satisfying when you figure something out! You'll definitely want to take notes somewhere else.

I chose to buy this game because it was on sale and I really like solving puzzles. But after playing a few hours without making any noticeable progress, I can almost assuredly say I will never be able to solve this on my own. The apparent goal is to decipher groups of 1-4 symbols in order to reveal instructions for opening a box. But with no starter puzzles, no meaningful indication of progress, and a supposed Rosetta stone that offers nothing definitive, it literally becomes a race between one's patience and random guessing. That's not my idea of fun. Unless you have a PhD in linguistics or work as a code breaker for the CIA, I do not recommend this game.

Não vale seu tempo Serei breve; Linguagem é a porta de entrada para a cultura de um povo, um fenômeno humano. Entretanto esse jogo peca em apresentá-la apenas como o conjunto de todos os elementos linguísticos vigentes em uma determinada comunidade, ou seja, um código. Eu fiquei na dúvida de como essa obra tem uma nota tão positiva aqui na steam, mas lendo as reviews eu percebo que o critério para muitas delas foi a dificuldade mais elevada e a carência de dicas. Se migalhas te satisfazem, esse jogo de fato é perfeito para você. Chants of Sennaar acerta não por ser mais fácil, mas por apresentar suas linguagem através de cultura, arte, arquitetura, interação interpessoal, dentre outros. Epigraph, mesmo possuindo a coragem de fazer algo diferente, falha por esvaziar o aspecto humano da língua.

Cute little linguistic puzzle. The included glossing is very convenient.

Enjoyed playing. I don't know how a typical language system works, but this game is good enough to show itself as a language translation puzzle. [spoiler] The most difficult part during playing was to understand the writing system is the right-to-left. [/spoiler] The font of the letter given as a clue was terrible that hard to recognize. I hope at least the font size could have been adjustable.

Fantastic experience - though not without some rough edges.
