This is a platform action adventure game. You travel from the real world to another world. You need to defeat monsters along the way, improve your strength, defeat the final BOSS, and then find a way to escape from the other world.

"逃离梦魇(Escape from the nightmare)" is a laughably bad Super Mario Bros ripoff, a (badly) 3D rendered 2D side scrolling platformer, all in Chinese. There's a bit of a Link ripoff in there as well as you do some brawling and stuff, but this is still wholly derivative and seriously so bad that the idea the developer tried to charge money for this is truly comical. What do you do in the game? It's Super Mario Bros only crap. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $1 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bi…
