Eternia: Pet Whisperer

I dont normally leave reviews but think i may have stumbled upon a gem and feel the need to point people in the direction it. The visuals are lovely and i particularly like the fade when the screen changes. Not to mention how hilarious it is. Dont think i've ever laughed out loud during a game before.

10/10 would adopt all these animals again! Seriously though this VN was super wholesome and a joy to read through. It was nice seeing some of the Australian wildlife begin represented here, along with their unique qualities!

This is a fun, light visual novel about bonding with talking pets, with a small amount of framing narrative and hints about the world in which it's set (which did subvert my expectations). Each of the pets has a distinct and different (and often quirky) personality, and most of the game is learning about them by spending time with them and thereby earning their trust. The artwork and music are upbeat and bright, fitting the general tone, and each of the plotlines moves along quickly. It's very much a visual novel rather than a puzzle game, with your choices mostly being which pet's storyline to follow each day, but with its brisk play time of 1-2 hours this works fine. Overall, Eternia is a fun, fast-paced game that's worth its price if you're looking for a generally light-hearted and animal-packed visual novel to spend an hour or two with.

The game. Is fun. Jokes aside, it was a pleasant experience to talk to animals. I don't know if I'll ever adopt a frilled necked lizard one of these days but in this game you can! Music is good, art can look downright realistic sometimes(especially for the animals) and you have blue hair! For the price of this of game, I think it's acceptable and I would like to unlock the other routes. If you have some free time and looking to make some animal friends. I'd recommend this one!

You are a loser that needs some pets to keep him company, and all the animals basically roast you until they warm up to enough to move into your apartment. The humor is sharp and it's the perfect length so that it doesn't wear thin. There is a weird time travel mechanic to it and a bodybuilding koala who is my spirit animal now. 100% worth the price of admission.

I don't want to say this is the weirdest game I've ever played in my life but... it is. And I'm a connoisseur of weird story based games.
