About Evil Timefall

Evil Timefall

Evil Timefall - hardcore FPS, where you fight against medieval evil. Immerse yourself in dark horror, where you kill zombie knights, witches and demons. Dive into the bloody meat slaughter, where cruel enemies attack you from the darkness and wait for you around every corner. Upgrade your guns to execute more servants of the bloody lord of darkness.

Atmosphere

The game developers were inspired by the famous film "Army of Darkness". The game recreates the atmosphere of horror and comedy. You will brutally destroy terrible monsters and smile at the sight of fountains of blood.

This game is a classic retro shooter in which you kill crowds of aggressive enemies, pick up ammunition for your weapon and find first aid kits to restore health. Meet wizards at each level who will give you super power that improve your skills. Find chests with gold to improve and buy new types of weapons.

- Too hard to see the enemies, they blend too much with the environment, making it very tiring - Sluggish movement - No auto-reload and no reload while sprinting, which wouldn't be a problem if the character wasn't so slow and cluncky - No settings - Too low sensibility and no sensibility settings at all It could be okay but honestly, is just not fun

Evil Timefall is a first-person shooter where you battle dark fantasy enemies like skeleton knights, wizards, gargoyles, and others. The game offers only two types of weapons — machine gun and pistol, which can be upgraded. Ammo and health items are scattered across the map. The game consists of three levels that all look the same and quickly become boring. It’s essentially a collection of asset flips with no original content. The price is cheap during sales, but in my opinion, the game should have been free2play from the start. I can only praise the game cover, and I also want to say that in such games, the presence of achievements plays a huge role — they would provide more motivation to play. 2/10 Follow my Curator : The games that i`ve played ⠀

eh, it's alright. Feels more like a free game. I don't think there's that much content. I beat the first chapter of 3 in just 10 minutes. Here are my main (constructive, I hope) criticisms: All levels are very similar looking: same colors and same simple assets just placed around with some brick wall blocks to break up the level some. No jumping and no verticality - no even just a little. Enemies blend in to the level architecture (and fog) too easily. You have to watch for movement to tell where most of the enemies are - a bit easier to spot the ones that shoot (bright square chunks flying at you) or some enemies have slightly different color, and some are big dragons and their curved wings jutting up kinda gives them away in front of more blocky architecture. The blood splatter is too much: too big and too bright, (but yet lacking a satisfying "SPLOOSH" (or whatever) sound effect). It's already hard enough to see the enemies but the huge explosion of bright red squares and the bright white skull effectively block your view to any enemies behind the fireworks show. So how can you easily tell if there's more enemies and you should keep firing or if now is a good time to reload?…

It's a $1 game. You get what you pay for. HOWEVER, I enjoyed it. The combat element is simple. You have a rifle and a pistol. You can upgrade them both in the main menu. Also, I was gifted this game. You have two types of enemies. Ranged and melee. Both have unique models for each ability, however they do the same thing. The AR and pistol both have three separate upgrades. Each upgrade for the AR changes the model and magazine capacity. The pistol upgrades change the capacity only. The levels are the same models, textures and buildings. You have three different levels. In the middle of the levels you meet a wizard that gives you one magic ability. Which is you kill five enemies you get five points of health. Aside from that, for an early dev game I enjoyed it. I hope this dev continues to improve on this game and hope they see success!
