About Evrisia Art
Evrisia Art is a VR based painting program intended to help introduce new users to VR and to feel comfortable using the Steam VR VIVE controllers and system. PC / VIVE only, it allows the person in VR to paint shapes all around them, but also allows the computer operator to guide them while inside the experience, as well as changing settings to make it simpler or easier to use depending on their skillset. Available to anyone who meets the requirements of the HTC Vive System. Evrisia Art is integrated into the Evrisia Eye testing system.

Evrisia ART is not a game. It's a VR exclusive paint app. Like Microsofts Paint 3D, but considerably worse in all respects. And most certainly, not a game. I mean, if you think this actually a game, go open MS-Paint on your desktop and have fun! This has misleadingly been launched in the "Games" section of Steam instead of the "Software" section. This is a common mistake for developers who are new to Steam, or don't understand the difference between games and software which isn't a game. It seems this software published incorrectly as a game is simply lack of experience/knowledge of the correct process, there's no apparent or malicious attempt to mislead gamers. Here's a link for the process to publish Software which isn't a Game on Steam. It's unfortunate this process was not known about/followed, resulting in a software application being published in the wrong place. Publishing things which aren't games on Steam in the Games section as games is misleading to gamers and somewhat harmful, because it pollutes the Steam marketplace and takes away visibility and market exposure for genuine game…3 found this helpful
Evrisia Art is a free VR paint program. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, sounded ?, played so-so. CONS: - Simple instructions on the monitor view. - Part of the Controls are on the monitor, you would have to break immersion to use them. - No movement controls. - Very bare bones and simple. Try it, maybe as a new VR player, but better programs out there.2 found this helpful
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Very close call on whether to thumbs up or thumbs down. In the end, I decided I just couldn't recommend this. It kind of works. So you can spawn a painting brush on either your left hand or right hand by pressing grab (or despawn). Then you start painting with the default color and style brush. If you press trigger, you will make the brush size bigger so if you don't press trigger it'll be small, if you barely press it then it'll be bigger and then if you hold it down then it will be the maximum size brush. You can move your joystick around to change the brush color and brush style. Unfortunately, several animations usually show up on several of the brush types. This will cause severe frame rate drops and make the app almost unplayable. I tried clicking on what looks like the erase or undo icon but it would never undo. You can press grab and then grab what you just drew and move it all around. Usually resulting in more severe frame rate drops. It's almost unplayable. In any event, there doesn't seem to be a way to easily stop drawing as by default you're drawing as soon as you have the brush selected and move your ha…2 found this helpful
