About Fallen City Brawl
Brawl through the city in hard-hitting pixel art style inspired by arcade classics!
As a brutal battle for control of Fallen City’s criminal underworld rages, four strangers join forces to survive and reclaim the streets! With a ferocious wolf at their sides, these unlikely allies will face impossible odds. Along the way, motivations and past lives will collide, further testing their loyalty as well as their fighting skills. Only by binding together can they reach the final showdown that will decide who lives and who falls.
Inspired by arcade beat ’em ups of the late ’80s and early ’90s, Fallen City Brawl is a story of ambition and revenge told through intense side-scrolling pixel art action. Huge sprites and animated backgrounds breathe life into the dying city streets, while fighting mechanics offer uncommon depth with destructive combos, counters, air-throws, grappling, parries, special moves and “RIOT” supers! Animated cutscenes and a powerful soundtrack by famed composer Daniel Lindholm set the tone for urban mayhem, playable solo or with friends in local co-op!
Features:
- Fight through 7 stages of arcade-inspired action!
- Choose between 4 playable characters.
- Execute combos and specials with deep hand-to-hand combat mechanics.
- Pick up weapons like pipes, bats, knives, firearms, oil drums, chainsaws and more!
- Clear the screen with special attacks by upgradeable mercenary backup.
- Battle it out solo or with friends in local co-op.
- Command a wolf companion or unleash him and watch the carnage!
- Get in the mood for mayhem with a soundtrack by Daniel Lindholm.

looks and feels like it was made in a weekend with AI. no soul, no deep combat, just button mashing and brainless enemies.2 found this helpful
Great Arcade length beat em up.Very fun.1 found this helpful
I am a 44 year old gamer who grew up with Beat em ups and enjoy most of them. However Fallen City Brawl has too many glaring issues that can't allow me to recommend. You do TOO little damage to the enemy while they do so much and spam attacks over and over to where unless you are lucky to break out of. there are barely ANY health powerups to speak of, they are there but so rare might as well not even be in the game. The difficulty is unfair because of the spam attacks the damage I would take from the enemy, it was cumbersome and annoying. Only allowed two continues, but you can continue after getting a game over on the title screen. weird choice, but fair enough. The walking animations are stiff and goofy, while the idle animations are nice. once again weird choice. The zooming effect is pretty cool for the that 90s neo geo/arcade flair and can be turned off if you don't care for it. There isn't many enemy types either. I want to say around 12 maybe, no variety. The game just isn't fun and getting spammed to death but guys who jump at you with swords or a guy with a ski jacket keeps round housing you is just stupid. The music however is stellar, 80s synthwave style stuff that r…
Nice beat-'em-up, but waay too short and easy. Best to pick it up in a deep sale.
A Little fun romp, buy when on sale. Streets of Rage 4 is still better.
Absolutely phenomenal game, one of the greatest beat 'em ups of all time -- beautiful KOF/MUGEN style sprites, satisfying combat, and a great blend of classic (Klassic) old school arcade style brawler mechanics with some modern twists. 6/5 stars. 11/10. *Update* after unlocking all achievements, I can only say once again what a blast this game is!
