A 1990s inspired beat 'em up that is firmly average, having some minor balancing issues and mechanics problems. Play as either Claire Sparks, Miller T. Williams, or Duke Sancho in the quest to rescue Claire's sister from the London street gang Syndic8. Beat down the same handful of enemies across five stages, smashing crates for loot and healing food items on your way to fight that stage's boss. Combat in Final Vendetta doesn't feel like anything special, having the usual combo light attack, jump kick, stomp, a useless block, dodging, and a special maneuver that will drain your hit points if there isn't any energy in your special bar. Attacks are somewhat inconsistent when it comes to connecting, as enemies will sometimes just attack clean through it, locking you in for multiple strikes; the same can be said of using your ground stomp, as sometimes enemies will be locked in for the full three ground strikes or randomly pop up and land attacks. Enemies can be somewhat overwhelming at times in terms of numbers, making it easy to juggle away your hit points through multiple attacks, recovering from the ground, or draining your hit points through the use of a special to make some b…2 found this helpful

Two Brits and a Canadian choose violence in a modern mash up of the OG Streets of Rage and Final Fight. Lots of fun even though there isn't lots of replay to go along with it. The pixel art is great, and the moves can get technical if taking the time to learn how they combo together. If a DLC or a sequel drops, I'll be picking it up for sure.1 found this helpful
Its a fun beat-em up game, solid gameplay and graphics, catchy bgm is enjoyable as well. If you like beat-em up games, this is worth adding to your collection for sure. If your still unsure just wait for a sale, if you like streets of rage genre, then you'll like this too.
A good old beat 'em up. Not earth-shattering, but still really fun.
