Farlanders

The tutorial and QoL are a complete joke, making the so-called "campaign" barely playable. You'll be better off learning this game blindly than following those idiotic instructions/completing tasks. Normal tutorial: you follow instructions, you finish it. Farlanders' tutorial: you follow instructions, the game soft-locks you — all while FORCING you to do exactly what it says. So even if you know the game will screw you over, there's no easy way to try and avoid that since your hands are tied. Also, needing to put down each wire/pipe/tunnel tile is such a chore, especially since a lot of buildings need each three AND there's also different types of them. That's just mindless, pointless busywork.

point One- support Ukraine by buying this fun base building game. point Two- I love this game... I have been a player of S M ´s Civilization since its invention. This feels like "the good times are coming back" for me.

good game welll made interesting story

Buggy, can't progress through tutorial. Turn resets when finishing last objective on the second stage. Restarted and then it wouldn't let me progress passed a part where you save a terraform tile to use later. I liked the concept, story of the game wasn't really hooking me.

I don't normally like puzzle games, but am very fond of city builders and the like. This has such a wonderful look to it of always feeling like you are in a tight squeeze of managing resources. You spend turns arm wrestling your resources into the positive, maybe even sometimes havign a large amount of excess. But bring in new citizens to get more things done and you find that some resources are now in decline. You always feel like you are walking a tightrope, and it's great. It reminded me a bit of DotAge, but without the manual allocation of population. The tutorial and campaign is good and it introduces each new mechanic (and there are quite a few unique, yet intergrated systems here). I am still working my way through the story campaign and loving it, but it can be hard to get your initial colony up and running, and I have had to restart runs a few times. The between level dialogue is largely unessecary, but can be skipped, and is not essential to undertsanding the game. Not all systems are completely clear and there may be times you don't quite know why something isn't working, but usually you can nut it out. Fun for the whole family - it has bletxos - it comes with a stick you can poke a baby with - it has vacuum atmosphere where you can watch someone's eyes pop - It is somewhat froody if you smoke a grub 2x (3x and it will kill you) and mostly - no bugs - campaign takes a bit but it can get there... - music is simple and graphics are vibe -
