Fight Poker is a simple but pretty interesting take on poker that turns the usual card game into a proper turn based battle. Instead of just trying to make one strong hand, I have to place my cards across four rows, with two being used for attacking and two for defending. The community cards help both sides, so I am constantly thinking about where each card is going to be most useful. I like the idea because it keeps the familiar poker rules while giving me more decisions to make every round. The main thing I enjoy is having to think about the whole board rather than only chasing the strongest hand possible. A good card can be useful in several different places, and I have to decide whether improving one row is worth leaving another weaker. The game normally lasts between five and seven rounds, with later rounds building on the hands already on the board. That gives me enough time to change my strategy as more cards become available instead of deciding everything from one deal. The five bot difficulties are useful for when I want to play alone, and there is also pass and play if I want to play locally.
