It was created by two dads drawing on personal experience and looking to celebrate their own children. [h2]Narrative[/h2] Find Your Words has players take on the role of a non-verbal child bravely attending summer camp for the first time. The short story focuses on their experiences broadening their communication abilities by partaking in different activities and making friends. It is not an overly complex narrative, but it is wonderfully wholesome and shares a message of inclusion and accomplishment. [h2]Gameplay[/h2] Near the start of Find Your Words, players are provided with a communication binder. This facilitates non-verbal communication through the use of symbols and is largely based on AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). This game very quickly touched my heart. Sometimes, especially in the world we currently live in, it's easy to forget how all of us have always had a compassionate heart that can easily connect with others regardless of our differences. Fortunately, games like Find Your Words helps us remember of human kindness. You play as a non-speaking kid who makes friends while helping other kids in the camp. And at the camp, all you experience is joy, friendship, and good vibes.

Find Your Words is a really sweet little game that takes place at a summer camp where I get to spend time with other kids, explore the area and slowly build friendships. The main thing that makes it different is that I communicate using a binder filled with symbols instead of normal spoken dialogue. I find new symbols by exploring, taking part in activities and getting to know the other campers. It is a very simple setup, but it gives the whole game a much more thoughtful feel than I expected. The communication system is easily my favourite part. I am not just picking normal dialogue options and watching conversations happen. I am collecting symbols and combining them to work out different ways of expressing myself. As I get to know the campers, I unlock more ways to communicate and that opens up new interactions. I really like how naturally this is worked into the game instead of feeling like a separate educational feature that was added afterwards. The summer camp itself is also lovely to explore. I can walk around the different areas, spend time near the beach, explore the woods and find wildlife while meeting the other campers. There are several activities that become availab…
