About Fly Dangerous
Ever wanted to take a ridiculously fast, fully-controllable rocket ship and fly it like the lunatic that lives inside of all of us? Well now you can!
Fly Dangerous is a game where 60Gs of acceleration is just fine because who needs realism? From pick-up and play arcade gamepad all the way to no-assist, highly configurable and bind-able controls - configure your flight stick (or mouse, keyboard, gamepad or ... steering wheel, no judgements here but good luck) and take to the skies at absurd speeds.
Test your skill on the leaderboards with drift, careful boost control and a 6dof flight model! Use flight assists to keep your balance and work towards turning them off for the best times!
Put some music on and chill in the infinite free roam modes.
Party up with friends in the online multiplayer mode!
Jump into VR for the full stomach-wrenching experience!
Now supports head tracking with OpenTrack and TrackIR, bHaptics integration and telemetry / Sim Racing Studio integration!
Forever free and open source

fumbled around with the controllers on a stadia controller crashed a bunch of time but it was really fun regardless will definitely be playing in vr at a later date solid 9/10 and i've barely played not 10 cause it takes a while to sync with leaderboard and the default controller bindings are a little bit confusing at first having one of the joysticks just not be inverted main thing is the leaderboard i'm just a bit slow1 found this helpful
Awesome FREE Space Racer. Reminds me of Trackmania1 found this helpful
Very fun game that takes the elite dangerous flight model and gives us a way to do time trials! Excellent controller mapping and physics1 found this helpful
WARNING: This game was in "early access" and after learning from the kid writing this game that it will not see completion this year or next, we must move on the other titles. This developer is simply wasting your time and will not be completing this sad little app. Yes, it looked like a good idea for a VR game but unfortunately it will never be completed... yet it stays in the Steam Store...? Poor and inexperienced Devs hide behind the "Early Access" option when releasing unfinished projects,... for years! CAVEAT EMPTOR1 found this helpful
got bored after 10 mins
The idea of the game is fine I guess. The controls are okay and the graphics generally good, but there are several problems: 1) it is a racing game, but there is no proper feeling of speed. Even with the booster, the ship feels slow and sluggish. Even if you are low-fly flying, the terrain moves way too slow and feels that you are riding a bicycle, and flying through the rings also feels too slow. I come from No Man´s Sky where you trully feel the speed. 2) The "Free Roam" maps are basically useless in the sense that there are not a single map feature that allows you to do air acrobatics, so it ends up being just a "fly straight" experience. 3) The time trial maps are kinda boring just flying through a few floating rings. I wish there were other targets to achieve. Currently the game becomes monotonous too soon. So all in all, I wouldn't really recommend it.
