About Forge Quest
Forge Quest is a dungeon crawling rpg set in a voxel world. Explore the land full of chickens on a light hearted quest to become a hero. Delve deep into the randomly generated dungeons to battle monsters, find treasure and craft your equipment. Invite your friends to join your world and help you in your adventure.
Long after great wars ravaged the land of Shmoop, a balance has been reached as both sides agreed to regulate all hero and villain related activities. This system flourishes as it creates the economic stability the land needed, and from it the great bureaucracy rose to rule over the land.
After many years from the system's inception, you step onto the scene. A strapping young adventurer who, after being dropped off by your parents, set off to obtain your Hero license from the kingdom. Although eager to claim your title, your path is full of danger as you must first prove yourself in the dungeons below. You also soon learn that not everyone plays by the rules and what it means to become a hero is much more then just a signed paper.

While not the worst of these kind of games (simplistic hack'n'slash with nods to classic Zelda titles), it's definitely not the best either. Nothing in the game stands out as remarkable, and most of the game parts feel cheap. Co-op helps, but not that much.1 found this helpful
You have to connect online to play a single player game. Lots of jank and unworking parts. Don't bother.
I have played this game on and off since around its release and ive gotten it for my buddies to play. Even if it was just a 1 go at the campaign. And i never left a review for this game so i am doing one now. It was great fun entirely, and the bugs were funny and the shopkeepers were... a bit annoying at times, accidentally selling certain things, but this is overall just a good game. A gem from 2015 (A decade ago, wow) that just got me with its unafraid-to-be-funny or Over-the-top lore mixed with an ending that kinda got me, honestly, and then the class system that just doesnt care at all what you take. Just put a point in wherever you want! No stat pre-requesites, just have the thing before this one and you can get that one, and then you can put more points into 1 thing. Simple and allows a lot of creativity, and everything scales off of 1 singular stat, your WEAPON DAMAGE stat (unless you count the bubble shields of which scale off your health). Also, VOXEL CHICKEEEEENNNNSSSSS!!! This game made me happy then and it still does now, when i want to go back to it ^-^
Really great game. Cool voxel style ARPG. Super affordable too!
What ever you do DO NOT BUY this game. It no longer works. You can watch gameplay videos that show you how to get started but they no longer work. Only thing you can do is name your player but there is NO Way to start the game.
A Torchlight/Diablo 2 style game with a Minecraft-y art style. If that sounds fun, there's enough to enjoy here. Just rather one note.
