overall: 6/10 This isn't a game, it's a Teaser/min game ad for amity chain. I wish steam had a meh review because it's not bad at all, it's a half an hour if you help people and an hour to an hour and a half if you don't know what you doing, The Story (spoilers): The story is good it's about a dude name Chirs who wants to be a girl in a small town full of people who are hardcore Christians. I enjoy the story, I lived in a red state and went to a small county high school. I feel for the main charter even though my high school wasn't against trans or gay rights, a lot of students were. "Friend ReQuest - A Playable Teaser" is not strictly a game. It's an advertisement/demo for another game called Amity Chain. It's a common mistake when unfamiliar with Steam to launch demos/advertisements as full games on Steam instead of tagging them correctly as demos. It's just a 2D top down retro pixel "adventure" game slapped together badly with GameMaker Studio 2, text heavy and intended to discuss LGBT+ and other social issues. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Just like you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear, you can't make a good game from a completely crap game engine. This made me sad lmao, but I enjoyed it. It says its just a playable teaser and I would really like to play the full game if/when it's out.

The game was a little repetitive as far as the things to boost your skills go, and maybe I'm slow but i'm still not entirely sure what the skills do besides open more conversation to have with the NPCs. The story itself was amazing though and i love how it was portrayed. I can't wait to see more of the ending
