Frog Bard is adorable, both the game and the character. He toots around the gloomy woods in his bouncy cart in search of song inspiration. Luckily, little fireflies guide him to points of interest using a navigation system inspired by Ghost of Tsushima’s guiding-wind (or Crazy Taxi’s giant red arrow, you pick). The artistic amphibian then chooses what nugget of inspo to take away from these natural landmarks. Whenever he feels prepared for his show, the slime-y singer vroom-vrooms to the local inn and dishes out some ribbiting bars. While not the most polished project ever, Frog Bard is a lightweight delight with a modest price-tag to boot. Frog enthusiasts, what are you waiting for?3 found this helpful
A beautiful little experience. Full of thought-provoking poetry that is all quite good :^)3 found this helpful
Biblically accurate folk musician simulator. It's a good night when you break even! Itsy-bitsy vibes-based titles. Nice art. Simple but does what it needs to.1 found this helpful
Sometimes you get to do a little ditty and eke out a living, if you're lucky.
Not really a game, only buy if you are desperate for cute frogs.
Very cute, very short (but re-playable), after going through the cycle a couple times you have sorta completed the game. The Description of the game fits it perfectly. The title screen is very fun and filled with charm, giving you your credentials and contract as a bard, plus the most luxurious snack pouch I've ever seen in my life. I do think the bards need to unionize cause what do you mean they don't cover hurt tummy?
