About From Scratch
In FROM SCRATCH you explore a large open world (two maps the first one with an area of over 50 square kilometers, the second one with an area of 16 square kilometers), in which you will discover many interesting places (port, mines, warehouses, military outpost and others).
You will fight, craft, trade, mine, fight enemies and hunt animals.
You start almost from scratch, with a basic backpack and clothes.
You can set up your base in one of the abandoned houses or build your base, store your loot in a crafted chest and decorate it with various furniture and props that you can buy from the seller.
Craft equipment from gathered resources to prepare for the dangers that lurk in the unknown.
Craft a variety of items, from basic items to advanced items such as weapons and more!
Smelt raw materials to sell them later and use the collected money to buy equipment that you cannot produce.
Fight using melee weapons, firearms and grenades.
Don't forget to collect the plants that exist in the world.

Absolute dog spit. (and you know what word "spit" means too) Performance is horrid. Motion Blur cannot be turned off and is nauseating even with Post Processing turned down to low) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uok1Mwl5r9o This asset cobbling wanna-be developer purchased a grand total of ONE absolute "dog spit" zombie asset that looks like "A55" for this entire game. Most importantly, this total pile of "spit" comes in at a massive 41 GB install size because of the massive map size full of empty terrain and invisible walls. ..What a joke and a slap in the face to anyone looking for a good open world survival game on Steam. NOT RECOMMENDED. My Score; "Scratch" your butt and save your hard earned money and 41 GB of hard drive space. Maybe a little overpriced for what it is. I would have fun if it was multiplayer but that does not exist as of now. 2024/Jan/10. Will watch with hopeful eyes, but won't hold breath.3 found this helpful
[b]With the understanding that this is a Beta release.[/b] Overall a Crafting/Building with a side of zombies. Some graphic issues with entering some buildings. No sound on taking a tree stump. Dying zombie sound last too long. Seem like another zombie close by. Yes blurry on turning the PC. A little lack lustre/ not exciting. I'll update the game when new updates come along to see improvement ! The game needs a more unique name. "From Scratch" has too many google hits not related. So is BB Studio for that matter. I need more user manual. Like where is it safe to park where I wont get attacked. Where can I find recipes. Like smelting copper? Can you have multiple HOMES? Is there a fast travel Is there a way to find your body after you re-spawn? Double clicking on an asset in a dead body should auto add to backpack. Is there going to be a level system. Like carry more at higher levels? Better weapons? Guy
