STORY
FRONT MISSION 3: Remake is a tactical RPG set in a future where nations and corporations compete for dominance in a world shaped by powerful mechs called Wanzers. The game follows two diverging storylines based on an early choice made by the protagonist, Kazuki Takemura. Both narratives focus on a global conspiracy involving secret weapons, corporate greed, and nationalistic agendas.The game begins with Kazuki and his best friend Ryogo unwittingly becoming embroiled in a military conflict after a routine delivery to a military base. Depending on the player's choice, Kazuki either joins up with his sister Alisa, or with an operative investigating a covert weapon project M.I.D.A.S., Emma Klamsky. In both routes, themes of loyalty, family, and the ethics of technology are explored as Kazuki and his team fight to uncover the truth and prevent catastrophic consequences.FEATURES

The original game is one of my absolute all-time favourites. And I find this remake quite competent. It preserves the spirit of the original FM3 very well, especially with the OG soundtrack. QoL improvements, such as network update notifications, new layout, and password hints, are really welcome. Achievements are cool too :) Graphically, game looks good - modern lighting, shadows, and beautifully rendered water, all help in setting a great mood across many maps. Speaking of maps, they no longer look like dioramas (as in the OG game) with visible "world's end" edges, as charming as that was. Maps continue far beyond the playing area, creating a natural background that nicely fits in a more grounded vibe of the remake. Wanzers' silhouettes are still distinct and readable, even from bird's eye view. Combat animations actually do sell the weightiness of impacts, at least to me. Aesthetics of the original FM3 are still great, but the remake's look does not "win or lose" against them, it is just its own thing. And I like it just the same. Also, I dig the remake's soundscape. True MASTERPIECE of the Legendary Play Station 1 era! Must have. They even made it possible to switch to the ORIGINAL PS1 SOUNDS AND MUSIC! I wish there was an option to switch to the ORIGINAL PS1 32BIT graphics.2 found this helpful
This remaster is like polish smoked meats. If you don't die, come back again. If you die, you at least cannot complain. Remake of the famous game from Wish.
good remake, but not the best. they could have added a top view of the battleground. as final fantasy tactics did it. it makes some parts you can't see what's going on.

The game looks, feels, and plays amazingly. I have always wanted to revisit this game but lost all my ps1 disk. I am always looking to support developers and the amazing games they make.
