Fruits of Fury

Fruits of Fury is an odd one. There's the groundwork for a survivors-like, but it almost feels as if somewhere in development the ideas stopped. As you play you fight various fruits, with new things happening every so many seconds which is honestly a pretty cool event. There aren't many of them, but they are appreciated. Most of the attacks you have will be directional based until you've earned enough money to upgrade them in the store. That's not a bad thing, but the price accelerates at a pretty quick pace. Which means you'll likely be playing for a while until you actually make substantial upgrades. Each match finishes at 10 minutes with a boss battle, and.. Yeah, I think because most of your attacks are directional based you'll often find yourself at a disadvantage. I personally found the boss battles to be unenjoyable, which really takes away from the idea of jumping back in to push forward to it again. Overall I think if you're a fan of games like this there's the good chance you'll find enough here to entertain you for a bit. However, I also think it has a lasting appeal. It's one of the few games of this genre that I'd be hard pressed to put more time into.
