Fuzz Force: Spook Squad

The game is way to wonky to be any fun. The very first two run I did playing the game I used the bonus dice feature on the first chest I found. I got the upgraded mimic fight twice and promptly lost because there is no way a fresh character can beat it. I just stopped using it as I seemed to get a negative effect on top having to spend resources to do it. Combat isn't much better. Not knowing what you enemy is going to do and it being random makes it difficult. You can end up spending turns blocking when your enemy doesn't attack. Frustrating and not fun.

first run. mimic. constant 3 dice and kills me in 4 turns. 2nd run, 3 chests mimic on the first chest on the first chest again. le sigh. tried to sheild like no thing else mattered. get slapped by nothing but status effects and i try to fight back die because i get poisoned to death while the mimic was able to out heal me and put my dice to basically useless. 3rd 4rth 5th runs. got a bit further. tried to avoid the chests. till the 5th run forced me into a chest. and guess what? another F***ing mimic. dies. if i have anything to say about this game. remove the mimics from the first floor bare min like holy heck its not fun when every run is a mimic that kills you so you cant advance. im sure its a fun game just cant see anything else but mimics so it made me stop playing all together.

it's actually pretty fun, i beat the game with every character (And 1 of the hardest characters) it IS replayable

Turn-based Combat in a more family friendly format. It's got a degree of skill and luck to it, making it enjoyable for multiple runs, and even for younger audiences. Short, simple, sweet. Not a terribly taxing game to pick up or set down. 6/10
