While there is some value in the generic arcade shooting and the low price, very little effort has been made to hide the game’s mobile origins. This shoot ’em up doesn’t have much to offer because the entire experience feels like playing on a mobile phone or tablet. Unfortunately, that includes gameplay confined to only about a third of the screen and a very poor control scheme that relies solely on the mouse, with no support for keyboard or gamepad. Your ship fires automatically, but instead of simply moving it with the mouse, you must press and hold the left mouse button at all times. This quickly becomes uncomfortable and tiring for your fingers. The reason for this design choice becomes clear with the power ups that appear at the bottom of the screen when collected. Because there are no keyboard shortcuts, you must release control of the ship, quickly move the mouse to the bottom of the screen, click the power up to activate it, and then move back to the ship. Power ups are temporary and include additional wingmen with various weapons or a boost that greatly increases firing speed and the number of projectiles. The main mode takes you through 50 stages.
