Galaxy Princess Zorana

This feels like a pretty significant step down from Long Live the Queen. Ironically smaller scope, being able to have friends and cabinet members stay on the ship with you just sort of highlights how little there is to do, especially when missions are sitting there waiting for skill requirements to be met. Because of something that I won't describe for spoiler reasons backtracking or leaving with the intention to come back to a mission later stops being an option very early into the game In a very noticeable way LLtQ felt like a rouge like, but here runs don't end at mistakes so you choose between save scumming and letting piles of unresolved missions snowball into futility. I feel like a simple solution would be to allow extra social points to be used on extra classes, but as it stands I'd rather just play LLtQ again

You craft your own allies, your own skills, your own adventure, your own princess, and across a multitude of playthroughs (probably), you harness the knowledge required to reach this one fabled line of text. Reading this declaration of victory is a great catharsis, and there is a sense of true accomplishment with your first electoral triumph. The major strength of this game is that you feel you really earned your win as a result of your expert political maneuvering. But it is also a journey that is supremely frustrating at times, with multiple seemingly random stat checks, lopsided effort and payoff, and the constant, legitimately stressful, feeling that time is slipping through your fingers. If you do not mind constant save-scumming and loss of progress (including full run resets), this is a fantastic story-driven game that achieves your dream of politically outsmarting the whole galaxy. It's SO much more complicated that I expected, and I love it for that. If you played Long Live the Queen, then play this too!

A great sequel to one of my favourite games, Long Live The Queen. Like its predecessor, it's a stat raising geme and your choices matter. Thanks to the many possible endings it's also highly replayable.

I really enjoyed long live the queen and I think I love this game even more. So many branching paths, and even going into the game blind like I did during my first round, I could make my way through (with minimal deaths). And there's countless ways to play, I managed to get to the end with no combat or weapon or pilot skills, just a lot of charisma and avoiding being alone.
