Galaxy Too Far gives you control over AI system. The main goal is to be useful for your Creator and you finally found a good planet to make it a resource base.
Start your expansion with the most basic structures. Use the mining system to extract resources. Perform primary processing, and then create your first technological materials. While drones help you to transfer fragile materials, pipelines move heavy raw resources.
Start investigating energy resources available on the alien planet. From classic wind and solar energy to geothermal and cosmic radiation.
Terrain based gameplay. Ground level, biome type, water level matter.
Complex Augmentation system. Helps you to determine where you can build a specific building, how it will be connected to other systems. Where underground resource is located, what temperature is in the hovering building spot and more.
Close the ring around the planet and prepare the Beacon for a final strike. It will require a lot of resources and energy to accomplish. Use orbital constructions to support your planet infrastructure.

The game is very pretty, but that's about as far as it goes. The core game play loop is hampered a great deal by lack of a clear user interface for determining your current production goals and output, and there is a dire need for a number of quality of life improvements in the controls. There's no quick way to queue up production in your nest, so if you need 20 of something, that'll be twenty mouse clicks. De-queueing is the same slog, and there's no way to specify a desire to keep a certain number on-hand, at least in the early game. There might be more to love as you progress through the unlock tree, but the slow, slogging game play coupled with the interface's seeming desire to be as frustrating as possible caused me to ask for a refund before I'd finished the first tier of the game.14 found this helpful
This game can not be completed. The final stage does not charge your beacon if you even make it that far, since after midgame the resource balance is way out of proportion, by a multitude of the order 10^3. The visuals are impressive though, I love how polished the game looks and feels and there is but one thing about the input I loath, and that is the way you have to hold your mouse [i]absolutely[/i] still while right clicking, or it won't register. I leave this game with sadness and do not recommend anyone starting this, because you won't be able to press the red button in order to complete your mission.5 found this helpful
I'm gonna repeat the other comment because my problems are exactly the same. yeah, the game cannot be finished. When you reach the last stage it cannot be completed. The weird thing is the 1.9% of achievement for the completion but maybe those people used the hex hack in the forum. I don't know. The tutorial is very basic and somethings you'll only find out by trial-and-error. I don't mind that much but buyer beware. And when you reach stage 3 your progress will come to a halt because of bad balancing. Your speed will be reduced by a factor of 10³ . There are ways around it but it is incredibly painful. maybe this is not the place for it, but in this genre I'd recommend checking Alien Horizon instead. It is still in alpha but much more complete. Also much more complex, so you'd have to like complex supply chains1 found this helpful
