Игра "Galaxy X" – это захватывающее космическое приключение, которое увлекает с первых минут. Прекрасно проработанный мир, полный загадок и интересных персонажей, не дает заскучать. Графика хоть и не поражает воображение ультра-современными эффектами, но выполнена в приятном, стилизованном виде и отлично подходит атмосфере игры. Геймплей предлагает разнообразные задания: от исследования планет и сражений с космическими пиратами до торговли ресурсами и выполнения сложных миссий. Система прокачки и кастомизации корабля позволяет игрокам подстраивать свой стиль игры под личные предпочтения. Однако, стоит отметить, что сюжетная линия хоть и увлекательна, местами кажется немного предсказуемой. Кроме того, порой встречаются небольшие баги, которые, впрочем, не сильно портят общее впечатление от игры. В целом, "Galaxy X" – добротная космическая RPG, которая точно понравится любителям жанра. "Galaxy X" isn't really a full game, it's a repackaged demo for the game that a Chinese dev has inexplicably decided to dump on Steam, presumably as part of a larger planned cash grab or something. So I guess the first and most important thing is this is just a demo/advert for a nonexistent product, and thus has no real value. What do you do in the game? If this was the full game you'd find a rather unsatisfactory pixelcrap "artillery" platformer, kinda like a Worms ripoff but worse. But this isn't even the full game. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. While I couldn't find this on the mobile app stores, everything about it looks and feels like it's a mobile app designed for mobile phones... for PC gaming enthusiasts, it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. Ah yes, Galaxy X/Pluto Attacks, that "Worms with tanks in space" game some of us used to play in Facebook back in the day is back? Well, not precisely. Saddly, it's just the demo and not the full game, although it's still enjoyable this is not going to fill the void that people who miss this game may feel. The game works well, it's fun and the music is good but it's compressed, but it's something you could expect from a browser game. It's worth it? Yes, but if you were expecting to play the single player story, multiplayer, or just some quick matches against the CPU, you are not going to get any of them because this demo only features like 5 (I don't remember exactly) levels where you fight against the CPU and then the game ends, leaving you with a pop-up window that has the direct Facebook link (broken) to the page where the full game used to be.

6/10 A short free Worms/Gunbound-like artillery game/demo. Good: - nice combat system, 3 types of units, each with 5-6 different abilities. The abilities add depth to combat - free - gfx are nice though pixelated since it's a port from a Facebook game and was intended to run in browsers So-so: - music is compressed to very low quality (since it was supposed to run in a browser) - there is a skull on the bar where you determine the power of the shot. It kinda makes the game too easy because you don't have to gauge the angle or the wind or the power of the shot anymore. Just shoot exactly as the skull tells you to. This makes for a much more casual game than Worms. Well, it's for Facebook audience... Bad: - relatively short (it would take you about 1-2 hours to beat all the 18 opponents here) - no progression, you can't upgrade your vehicle It's a nice demo, for free. Fun for an hour.
