Note: Dead multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no players, no populated servers. This multiplayer-only game cannot be played as intended.
This is another garbage train wreck attempt to create and monetize "The Metaverse" (stop trying to make the Metaverse happen, it's not going to happen). This one is from China, is probably mostly asset flipped, has no players, and is garbage. Everything will be fine, just don't mention Tibet, Hong Kong or Tianenmen Square, and the developers social credit will be alright. So, "Genting Party" is a dead multiplayer game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! The chief cause of failure is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Genting Party is a free to play VR social world for Chinese. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. Has English text for the UI and NPCs but the emails, voice overs and ads are in Chinese. I guess this game is located in China area, i had horrible network ping rate, and it noticed my ping and said my network was bad also. Sort of a clone of Rec Room. Maybe try this game, if you understand Chinese and live in Asia.2 found this helpful
The loading screen even recognize my system language as german, but everything else seems to be avaible in chinese only. I was unable to set it to english, so it's unusable for me.
I... guess I could recommend this. Game can be fun, but at some points it's just broken. I literally can't even type my phone number to bind it. Not against the fact of CCP spying on me as some people may say. Seems fun, but if so then at least do the conditions beareble for that. Everything other is pretty good I guess.
