Not at all what I was expecting. Just a google earth image of a city, No building options except a few buildings you can put down. No road options only signs. Could not find any trade and network features, just the option to walk, drive and fly around a city from Google Earth. If your going to advertise your game as a city Builder then please just do some research into what a City Builder actually is. Start with actually been able to build a city!

15 months no update on this early access version. and now they tell us this
Hello everyone, We are discontinuing Geopogo Cities in its current form. The service that provided the background city data for our game has changed its terms and conditions, making it incompatible with our existing version. As a result, this data source has now been switched off. We sincerely apologize for the sudden inconvenience this causes. We know many of you have built incredible, creative cities, and we are truly grateful for the time and passion you’ve poured into Geopogo Cities. Thank you for being part of this journey! We are already working on reconstructing the game’s data using a very detailed, custom model of San Francisco. Our plan is to re-release Geopogo Cities at a later date with this new foundation. We’re working hard to get it back up and running. We will keep you updated on our progress. Thank you for your understanding and support! Geopogo
what's this? also read this: [quote hellopogo 25. Feb. 2025: Thanks, AIRwolf79, for the straight-up feedback—it’s steering our next moves. You’re right: Geopogo Cities isn’t a full city builder yet, but we’re on it. Roads…

Very much green and very much early development but...HUGE potential. I especially liked the city renders and the picture quality: took a trip down memory lane in some cities I lived in or visited and the emotions it stirred and the overall experience were way better than what Google Earth could deliver (as renders here are way more complex/distant, even if you have to wait for a while for them to complete). With that said, there is no game yet at this stage so people should be mindful of this. Regardless, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Keep it up! :-)

Geopogo Cities takes a refreshing approach to the city-building genre by focusing less on economic management and more on exploration, visualization, and creativity. Developed and published by Geopogo, the game allows players to interact with large-scale digital versions of real-world cities while experimenting with urban design concepts in a highly accessible environment. Instead of challenging players with taxes, citizen satisfaction, and endless statistics, the experience centers on understanding and reshaping city landscapes through intuitive tools and open-ended experimentation. What immediately sets the game apart is its use of actual metropolitan locations as the foundation for gameplay. Rather than beginning with a blank map, players are introduced to recognizable urban environments inspired by famous cities. This design choice gives the experience a unique educational quality, as users can observe the layout of streets, buildings, and districts while gaining a better understanding of how real cities are organized. Exploring these environments can be surprisingly engaging, especially for players with an interest in geography, architecture, or urban planning. The building …
