Ghosting Gun S -was given to me for free by the dev - but that does not reflect or change my opinion of the game This is a really fun little game -which does have a lot of good and a fair bit of bad in it which i will go over in this review First some of the good is that it is easy to play and the graphics are colourful and well presented and never feel anything other than fine and do not seem to be messy. Such as the backgrounds they all seem to be clear and i didn't ever see myself trying to use something like a platform to jump on and it be part of the background , which has happened before in some other games. It is also simple enough to know what to do as the game is just a typical platform , get rid of the enemies and make it to the end of the level games - which makes it far easier to know what to do than some games. The different weapons - is also a plus for me using special attacks and different guns and swords is nice and you can earn coins in game to unlock new ones and having to buy bullets also goes along with choosing attack carefully. I am enjoying this action platformer for what it is [i] (a good waifu?)[/i] , however it is pretty hard to recommend. The gameplay is fine, but the stage design is not that great. This developer probably could make a decent boss rush game, instead he clearly tried to make too many things and failed miserably. I like the animation for main character, although there are some serious consistency issues when it comes to the art style. I will say that you really need a controller for this one because you can't change the keys, plus the default setup for keyboard is not exactly ideal. The actual movement is relatively responsive and the boss fights were enjoyable, so it is not a complete disaster. Have you ever played BloodRayne Betrayal? (It is kinda like that, except it is not as good) The game even has some voice acting, but I would rather not comment on its quality. You can unlock a couple different fire modes and one extra ability, which is better than nothing I guess. As for the difficulty it is not very high - slightly challenging at best. Pros: - The sprites and animations are really well made. - Controls are tight, and combat fun. - Boss fights are enjoyable. Cons: - Story is extremely barebones. - Backgrounds are not drawn well, and the tilework is awful. - Music is extremely bad, and there are no options to turn it off. Overall, the game was fun and enjoyable, especially considering its price, but it has glaring flaws. Here's hoping the sequel will fix those flaws. Good gun based gameplay. Works with my controller. Note: Although you're able to play in windowed mode, there's not a window resize option. I looked for an xml file that I could edit and change the resize value to true, but there isn't one. Have I overlooked something?

For the price at which it is sold (almost free) the game is excellent. Now, as a game, it is quite simple, 9 levels, very easy all except for the last and the final boss. The game has great potential and could be much more with just a few changes. For example: * A difficult difficulty mode where everything is the same but the enemies cause twice as much damage, and you don't have infinite lives in your run. * A Bosh Rush mode would be very grateful. * More variety of items to buy or drop, some that modify statistics such as more damage, more movement speed, more resistance to blows, or more damage at defense cost, or more resistance to mobility costs, etc. At the moment the game offers very little to "equip". Graphically it looks beautiful, all the characters are very charismatic. The music is quite simple and nothing memorable, I would love a mod that allows you to change it. The character moves well, although I would have liked to have a kind of dash to speed up the games, or be a movement obtained after finishing the first challange. Level design is boring. It's easily worth the tag price; it's a fun game with some issues; overall sound production could be better, level design is simple but can be fun; gameplay and boss fights are fun and I like the art in general. Fun fact, when I jumped into other action games, I was kinda wishing they played like this one, so I hope to see more from it. Long story short, game isn't perfect but it's a very nice addition to your library.
