Amazing! I really hope there is a GolfTopia 2 in the works! I was looking for something like SimGolf, and I was not disappointed! At first I didn't even want to try the game because I wasn't sure about all the Sci-Fi stuff. However, not only is it optional to put on your course (though the sims do like it when you use them well), but it actually adds so much to the game! It feels like a natural sequel to SimGolf set in the future rather than the present. The mechanics for playing your course are perfect - I really enjoy playing the courses I build and it reminds me so much of how I remember SimGolf. I am full on addicted to building courses and playing them. The course builder is great too, love the tools available to create exactly what you are imagining. 2026 and this game is still top notch!

Probably the best golf course maker game out there. Easy controls and you get to test quickly. Then the game tries to stick an 'attraction' game on top of it. But that part slows down the entire experience. The bad part is you have to keep it running only as fast as it can go. The speed up option is rather slow if you wanted to see your guests get better skilled. I think that is the only place it is lacking. Oh, and multiplayer would be fun.

Fun game about having a randomly generated island and building a futuristic golf resort on it. You start off by creating your world itself: setting parameters, etc From there you move onto buying which part of the island you want to own first and placing your club house. The rest of the game is pretty simple: Design a few golf holes, upgrade your clubhouse, design more golf holes, take care of guest's needs, upgrade your clubhouse again. Each clubhouse upgrade also lets you build unique decorations and unlocks which beautify your park and improves the ratings of each golf hole. Each clubhouse upgrade also has specific goals before you can unlock, although to be honest I didn't see what half of them were and automatically achieved them except for the last one. The game's theme is a bit futuristic so a lot of the things you are building are holographic and you can even build a few crazy things in your park like bounce pads, giant fans, flaming circles, bumpers like those from a pinball game, etc. While you are building and upgrading your park you also have to maintain a bit of a minor tower defense game. If you played SimGolf, its that but better. The scifi setting only adds to the options for building. You can play without it if you want a pure vanilla golf experience.

A fun golf architect game, full of surprises. Terrain tools are superb. Can recreate real courses quite easily too.

The current fast forward isn't very fast, it's takes so long to build up money even at max speed so you spend ages waiting for your money to go up, that is literally the only thing i don't like about the game or at least from how much of the game i've played so far, would love to see a faster option for fast forwarding added to the game but leave the current fast forward as it just adda new faster option.
