Really fun party areana shooter, the projectiles are mildly hard to use but you do get a feel for it, I could be me not being use to rythm games but the charting was a bit hard to do, I would also like it if they added the ability to have different keys for the rythm section like D,F,J and K over great time with firends. Overall I'm glad I finally got to play this game with my friends2 found this helpful
We were terrible at it and then we got really good at it. I honestly can't say anything bad about it. There is so much drip and customization. The gameplay loop is hilarious and doesn't get tiring. The several other game modes outside of classic are just as hilarious. The maps are so good with hazards of their own that WILL take you out. Performance was flawless. I played with a group of 4 and we had a hilarious chaotic time. We will definitely keep it in our rotation for our friends nights.1 found this helpful
Fun little part game, ngl. Solid 4/5 paws from me folks, and I'll tell you why. The GOOD *I love the characters and the customization. Fun things in there to use and unlock. Love unlockables. *The music is a plus. And I like that you can choose the soundtrack of your rounds. Nifty little feature. *Solid modes, lots of fun. And thankfully, I can turn off the dancepad part (just not my bag, baby.) *The various voice intros to each of the maps are map specific, which I really enjoy. *Enjoyable combat items to use, good selection. The NOT-SO-GOOD *I wish there was an explanation for the various modes. Some we were able to figure out easy enough but some, like payload, were a little confusing, especially if you've been playing sans dance pad... *I feel like a little more variety in weapons would go a long way. *Sometimes it seems the jump pads just launch you into nothingness... not cool bro. All in all though, a fun game to stream, great for a community to play, and it was certainly entertaining. Recommend for sure!1 found this helpful
Gorilla Showdown is a chaotic and highly energetic multiplayer arena game that mixes rhythm mechanics, arcade shooting, exaggerated physics, and objective-focused gameplay into an experience that feels both ridiculous and surprisingly addictive. Developed and published by Sloth King, the game throws players into colorful arenas where the objective is not simply eliminating opponents, but controlling rhythm-sensitive zones while surviving constant explosions, knockbacks, and frantic close-quarters combat. The result is a party-style shooter built around unpredictability, fast reactions, and nonstop multiplayer chaos. What immediately makes Gorilla Showdown stand out is its unusual combination of rhythm gameplay and arena combat. Matches revolve around players fighting for control of dance pads and music-driven objectives positioned throughout the arena. Instead of remaining stationary and defensive, players are constantly forced into aggressive confrontations as they attempt to maintain control while enemies try to launch them away using weapons, explosives, and environmental hazards. This creates a much more dynamic style of multiplayer gameplay compared to traditional deathmatch-…1 found this helpful

The weapon balance is shocking, why is almost every single weapon a really fun, unique, stylish, handsome, brave, inspiring and a shining beacon to mankind. Then there's devil spawn in the 3 AOE weapons. Whoever made them and fought to keep them in the current balance. I really hope your a nice person IRL.1 found this helpful
