GraviFire

GraviFire is a gravity puzzle game with boxes. Beat it in 2.5 hours (using video hints when I got stuck for about 6 levels) with a game controller. Difficulty is hard. It's a solid puzzle game. Some puzzles are simple, some require a little forward thinking, and a rare few others are WTF AM I DOING HOW DO I DO THAT?! There's no hurry nor time limits, you can reset the level at any time if you screw up, and there's an ability to skip a limited number of times if you get royally boxed in. 50 Levels total will keep you entertained. If you try to speed run the game or run out of patience GraviFire can make you pull your hair out, so I recommend this as a game you play a few levels at a time then put down for the evening when you get frustrated. Way more enjoyable that way. Would I recommend GraviFire? Oh yeah, no, for sure, go ahead. If you like puzzle games it's cheap and will keep you busy for a little while. 50 levels is the perfect amount for the duration and you'll leave the game feeling satisfied.

GraviFire is an interesting twist on block-pushing puzzlers, but its lack of undo is an absolute dealbreaker. The game's easy levels are irrelevant and forgettable, and the challenging ones often aren't fun because you can't try stuff out due to the flabbergasting lack of undo, combined with instant restart upon hitting obstacles like lasers. This gets genuinely frustrating in the later, bigger levels. Besides, the player character's movement speed is really slow, which is fine if you're solving the level for the first time but also gets frustrating when you're trying to re-tread known ground. Not every game needs undo; but this at least requires a design with no fail states. For instance, SNIKS didn't suffer as much from its lack of undo. Needless to say, GraviFire does not fulfill this requirement. The final 10-ish levels are more difficult than the earlier ones, but mostly by way of being huge, which is a very disappointing way of doing so T_T. There was even one level where I reached the final section, only to realize I'd have to either solve this section entirely mentally, or beat the level via "corpse runs" and restarting over and over; or I could look up the solution. GraviFire is a compact puzzle game that takes the familiar foundations of Sokoban and adds a particularly important twist: gravity can become part of the solution. Developed and published by Potata Company, the game places logical thinking, careful movement, and spatial awareness ahead of reflexes or action. Its concept is easy to understand at first, but the ability to manipulate gravity gives its puzzles considerably more depth than a conventional block-pushing game. The story provides a simple excuse for the challenges ahead. The player controls a small green fire that has been captured by aliens and forced to participate in a series of tests. Escaping and returning home means completing the puzzles prepared by the captors. Narrative development is intentionally limited, with the alien setting functioning mainly as a backdrop for the gameplay. Its main concern is presenting one logical challenge after another while maintaining a lighthearted science-fiction personality. Surprisingly tough and surprisingly good for the price

Evaluation - Unique and fun puzzle game Experience - In this game, you push around boxes while changing gravity and avoiding lasers. You can only change gravity to a direction where there is a coil on that side of the screen. The gameplay is simple but fun and the space feel adds to the experience. Suggestions - Would recommend for anyone interested in puzzle games. If you have more experience, it will be pretty easy but still fun, and it's also accessible for those newer to the genre.

Ah the feeling of a puzzle game pretty nice and thought out just like what your going to be doing with this game because it is a puzzle slider game which I find to be quite the blast and just a pro tip watch out for the lasers.
