Gravity Runner

Gravity Runner is one wild, adrenaline platform jumping ride! It is one of my go to games I like to play time and again. I had been playing the demo since September and just recently picked up the full game. Specifically here is what I like: -The Aesthetics. The 80’s synthwave retro design give this game a unique feel, you won’t find anywhere else. -The Soundtrack. The 80’s synthwave retro music, as I am sure can easily be imagined, goes together, quite nicely with the visuals. However it would a crime to only talk about the music in relation to the visuals. If you were to take away the visuals, and even the rest of the game, the soundtrack has enough merit to stand on its own and still garner critical praise. -Attention To Detail. One of the things I look for whenever I play a game are tiny, seemingly insignificant details. As these little things tell me that the developer put a lot of care and effort into crafting their game. Some examples here would include the behavior of the music and the game play once the black hole gets close and the design of the individual worlds. -The Game Play Is Simple and Accessible. An innovative platformer/runner from an indie dev. It's fun and hard - each level ramps up the difficulty and throws some new obstacles at you. I love the aesthetics - the scenery, lighting and soundtrack set up a cool vibe.

Gravity Runner is an excellent indie title that pits you against gravity and yourself. While you jump from one Synth waffle to the next. It is addicting and amazing.

I'm just getting started, but the synthwave vibe and music is really cool.

Level Design In Gravity Runner, everything is physics based, aside from a few platforms that are "checkpoints" and remain static. This makes for super interesting gameplay and that is all thanks to the thought that the developers have invested into their level design. Every one of the 14 levels have been carefully curated and crafted creating their own challenges and difficulties to get by. Some of the levels offer different choices for you to make on what path to take with an interesting feature to be able to flip vertically or horizontally to other platforms and paths. While progressing through the levels there are many obstacles to take into account such as flying projectiles meant to disrupt the placement of your jumps, as well as moving platforms that you will need to adjust …
