Our story starts as the citizens of the Kingdom of Glory celebrate their victory over the Dark Church. While in the catacombs of their former enemies, their revelry is disturbed by a sudden all-encompassing fog. The citizens wrapped by the fog disappear screaming into nothing. Those that remain alive after the strange attack, barricade themselves in the depths of the catacombs. As time passes, food becomes scarce and the people of the Kingdom of Glory begin to realize that they might all meet their demise. The ‘heroic’ Knights of Glory, shady mercenaries and the arrogant high elves band together into guilds in order to survive and escape the dank catacombs. Unfortunately, the guilds are far too concerned with their distaste for each other and are oblivious to the awakening of dark forces in the dungeons below…

The first one was silly enough where I played the second. I enjoyed the silliness of the first game and felt enough attachment to the characters by the end where I thought the second game might be interesting. I wasn't going to play it, but I ended up changing my mind. It had a little more drag to it than the first game where I was just trying to move along the story, but it was similar to the first game in terms of the quality. The Positives: -The game does expand from the first in terms of parody. The first one parodied tactics games, whereas this one seems to be more reminiscent of broader types of RPGs (has similarities to Baldur's Gate and other RPGs). -It gave you enough different things to do where it stood out from the first game as well as other games of the genre (because of its silliness). -As with the first game, there are enough interesting things going on with the characters and plot to stay engaged, and it isn't too long. The Negatives: -This felt a little more like it dragged than the first game, mainly when it required you to do a bunch of fetch-quest-like (back-and-forth) activities. Mocking D&D is relatively fun, gameplay is still just OK and interface and camera are your enemies along with running around after fetch quests to get more fetch quests, which while is part of the "haha lets make fun of rpgs" gets overplayed at times If you are looking for a C grade game, have some patience and like the simple humor, then drink a beer or five and it will be quite enjoyable
