Grunt - The Wrestling Game

I've got 4hr in and haven't had any problems do far. Text base is not for everyone but it's good if you like it. It's actually pretty deep for what it is. I've had some good matches and have been enjoying it. I made a wrestler and won my first match.

I want to like this game. It's very interesting, complex and pretty unique in my opinion. The added audio commentary and limited sound effects really add to the experience. However, I can't seem to make it past 2 or 3 matches without the game crashing. For such a minimal game, you would think stability would be a given but I have so far attempted an event card 3 times and have yet to make it even halfway through the card before the game crashes.

Had my Champion kill his rival in the PPV main event with a sleeper hold....misses the next 18 matches. amazing, love the chaos. really hope it develops somehow. or into something.

nice game needs specity matchs and tag teams through.

Definitely fun to be had here if you're willing to put in a couple of hours to understand how the game works and create your own custom roster and move sets. Presentation is basic but for me I consider that a plus. You'll get out of "Grunt" what you're willing to put into it: this is a game that will reward imaginative pro wrestling fans but lazy gamers will be bored in minutes. There are improvements that could be added for sure but the depth of customisation available is a delight. For a game that is free, you can't go wrong here. Kudos to the developer for releasing it for folks to enjoy.

its an old dos style organ trail type approach seems fun at first and yes you can add moves WHAT YOU CANNOT DO CONTROL anything wrestling in ring its all chance which ok but it be nice to have an option to control more things it wasnt my cup of Coffee
