"HALP!" is a short but pleasant enough VR puzzle game. Help a steampunkish space pirate captain escape from being stranded by waving your arms around with VR controllers. I mean, that's the experience you wanted when you got a VR headset, right? Normally the somewhat shallow experience in the game plus the poor comparison to non-VR games would be a dealbreaker, but the pricing here gives a lot of leeway. You get a lot here for not a lot, and that's a compelling value proposition. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. Игра «HALP!» — это хаотичный и саркастичный квест с оттенком абсурда. Геймплей построен на решении нелогичных задач в мире, где всё кажется подстроенным под иронию. Графика минималистична, но ярко передаёт атмосферу. Звуковое сопровождение — смесь драматичных мелодий и неожиданных юмористических вставок. Уникально сочетание сложных головоломок и безумной сюжетной линии. Минус: иногда разочаровывает отсутствие глубины в диалогах. В целом — необычный выбор для любителей нестандартного подхода.

Very nice game Like for free give like :)

A short little experience from the early days of this generation of PCVR. It is more like an interactive tech demo that shows off various things you can do in VR while helping this little guy. It could have been expanded into a whole world of games, but it is just a short little, do a couple tasks, throw things around and smack some things. Also have to realize, this was made for Vive so some of the position and controls might not be best suited for newer devices. Tried it again on a Quest 3 via Link and it keeps shifting position. I assume it has something to do with the way tracking works, but, still a cute demo if you have the play space for it.
