✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the solid puzzle design that gradually increases in difficulty and effectively challenges spatial and logical reasoning. However, the main criticism is that the VR implementation feels superficial—essentially playing a flat 2D game on a screen within a VR environment rather than delivering true immersive VR gameplay, made worse by basic Atari-style visuals. Some players also report technical issues including stuttering during turning and object interactions.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/FoCJGkTBLF8 I don't think this is a bad game. It seems like the puzzles are nice enough and they were starting to get quite challenging. The puzzles will test your logic and spatial skills. The problem is that, at least for VR support, this is basically playing a 2D game with some VR interactions in a 3D environment. So you're basically in VR to play a 2D game in a 2D screen. That's not an immersive use of VR. Especially, when the 2D screen is presenting very simple visuals (think Atari-era graphics). I also experienced some technical issues. I'm not sure what was causing them, but I felt some stutters at times when I turned around or when I interacted with some objects. The UI is also quite cumbersome to navigate. Game is running on the Unreal Engine 5.5. I was showing mostly 90 fps, so I don't know exactly why I experienced several severe stutters. Rate 4.5/10. The price is too high given the production values here.
I bought this game!
