✦ AI summary

Players are divided on this early-access twin-stick shooter. While some find it enjoyable despite its flaws, most criticize it as an unpolished prototype with poor visuals, weak progression systems, and lazy design that feels rushed to release. The game appears to lack the polish and depth expected even for indie titles in a crowded genre.

Another game that fits description "the developer decided to release it too early". So early that we have a basic 2d prototype without level design, animations and.. everything else

"HEGGO" is one of literally thousands of retro top-down/twin stick shooters infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "top-down shooter" on the Steam store page yields over six thousand results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. Despite the garbage tier visual presentation on this train wreck, there's actually a progression system. It's not a good one, it's in fact awful, but hey, at least it's there. This is a dead genre for a reason. Even though this is "free", it failed to attract any interest for gamers here on Steam Direct for obvious reasons. The technical execution of this game is shallow and simplistic, just enough to tick the boxes required to get something (anything) published on Steam, rather than investing the huge amount…
