About Hell Builder
Construct the Perfect Hell, One Card at a TimeHell Builder combines strategic city building with roguelike deck mechanics in a unique infernal puzzle. As the Dark Lord's chosen architect, you must construct a complete hellscape using building cards, careful placement, and resource management.Strategic Placement is Everything Every building placement matters. Place structures to create powerful synergies that generate Souls - your primary currency. Poor placement leads to resource starvation, while masterful synergy chains keep your infernal construction thriving. Buildings unlock dynamically based on what surrounds them: Spider Queens emerge only next to Spider Nests, creating an evolving puzzle of possibilities.Never Truly Fail, Always Progress Running out of Souls? Transmute Hell to convert your entire domain into powerful relics, then start fresh with new advantages. The larger your previous hell, the rarer and more powerful your relic choices become. This prestige system ensures every run advances your ultimate goal.Key Features:
- Synergy-driven building placement - Every structure must earn its place
- Dynamic unlock system - New buildings appear based on adjacency
- Transmute mechanic - Convert failed runs into permanent progression
- Quick sessions - Complete satisfying runs in about an hour
- No-fail design - Always progress toward your infernal masterpiece
- Atmospheric pixel art - 8-bit hellish aesthetic with limited color palette

Quick to play puzzle themed as a city builder. Very easy to get into but just as easily can stop you in your track until you figure out the optimal plan for your next moves. There are a few different devils to play with(against?) that have different structures. As the game says, it's difficult to lose as you can absorb your hell and start over with bonuses. Just be warned that if you try a different devil all previous progress is lost. Lastly, be also aware that this isn't really a card game, but more of an open ended puzzle with city building elements. The cards are just the visual format chosen to represent the buildings. Overall, a good game.2 found this helpful
This is a really unique puzzle/citybuilding game that is challenging while still being cozy (that may not have been the intended experience, I just found the game relaxing lol). I was delighted when I saw that there were different realm masters, and each one changed the gameplay in a significant way. There's a lot of depth to this game! I'll definitely be sinking more time into this in the future1 found this helpful

Another cool small game? I prefer the cute rabbits of the previous ones, and it felt a bit too puzzly for me, but damn, cuddlecodes really know how to make very nice little games! Congrats!1 found this helpful
This game has great theme, is crazy addictive and just the right amount of depth and charming. Plus points for having different hell masters to play; multiplies the worth of the game. I was completely stuck on the demo so I bought the whole thing. No regrets.
