About Hold The Door

You're in charge!

Plan out your defenses, pick the right towers and strategize your way to victory! In this tower defense game, you influence the monsters path. They all want to get to the door to push the dwarves out of the depths. Your goal is to make sure no monsters reach your door, and keep your dwarven empire safe, so we can continue to mine for shiny objects.

7 Unique towers, 1 barricade

Each tower has their own strengths and weaknesses, so make sure you plan out where to place your towers, to reach the maximum efficiency.
The 7 towers all have unique upgrades that will make them even stronger in the level. Give your favorite Sniper tower critical strike, give your best placed Cooling tower a chance to completely freeze the enemy, or focus on your economy by upgrading the Drill to continuously give you income.

Different every time

Every level is procedurally generated, to give you a unique experience every time you play the game. Select the difficulty, the spawners and the waves and begin stopping monsters from reaching your door. Each time you play, you get a seed, and that seed will always generate the same setup. If you've found the perfect seed, you can replay that level with the seed, and even share it so others can enjoy it as well.

Challenge your playstyle

A wide array of unique monsters will challenge your tower setup, some with abilities specifically designed to make you rethink how you place your towers. Armored enemies will require hard-hitting towers, massive waves of enemies will require you to think-in area of effect towers, and some might even disrupt your towers forcing you to spread out your defenses.

A very well made indie game based on my first impressions first play of this game. Three difficulty levels and loads of upgrades to all the available weapons make for a TD game with a ton of replay value here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW5guOigZLA RECOMMENDED. If you like tower defense games and got a few bucks to spare, you simply cannot go wrong with this little gem.

Meh, it all works, that's about the best thing I can say about this one. I paid under a buck, and that was about what I feel it is worth. No strategic upgrades, no tactical options, not even a hint of fluff, so dirt basic. Not even target selection. The tower upgrades are a bit interesting, you can only get three apparently, but they can vary based on the tower. Not a lot of tower types. five offensive, three support. Nothing exciting. The mobs are pretty basic, there is a boss type that is pretty tough to kill, but nothing exciting. Flying monsters exist, but they don't seem any different, still follow the path. There is pathing, for people who look for that. I failed to mention a barricade tower for this, but it doesn't do anything. A very generic one thumb up.

A rather straightforward tower defense game with traditional gameplay, focusing on a few basic defense towers and constructing pathways. The game is solid and enjoyable. The Hard mode presents a high level of difficulty, challenging players to calculate and balance between power and economy. I still haven't managed to overcome this level of difficulty.
