Almost gave this one positive review but game is stuck at 1080p so expect black borders all around. No option to expand to fullscreen in that matter. Gameplay is a bit like Asteroids where you try to hit your opponent. Available skills are shield and mines. Gets annoying when trying to hit someone but he keeps reflecting projectiles with shield. A few different power ups to catch that pops out randomly around the map. Visuals are ok, not complaining here. A few characters each with its own vehicle. Flying around and seeing how the car spins and turns is fun. Not necessarily a bad game just lacking one. Resolution is holding down simple arcade gameplay. 5/10.
7 found this helpful
A decent, competent couch multiplayer game. The star of the show here is movement, which is surprisingly well-executed. Building on this foundation, the game introduces several modes, some based on combat and some based more on movement mastery. Add mines, shields and boosts to your arsenal and you're in for a good time. It's one of those arcade games that are very easy to pick but has an absurd high skill ceiling. Visuals, sounds and UI are nothign ground-breaking but work well enough. This is great to play with friends, but tough luck going against the AI. Probably I wouldn't pay the full price based on how thin the singleplayer experience is, but it's very worth on a sale or if you plan to play a lot in local multiplayer7 found this helpful
