A amazing game all around, It runs really smoothly, Has a great soundtrack and really good controls> Have you ever wanted to see your friends sucked in to the cold vacuum of space as their ships blows up into a fiery ball? Want to remind your younger siblings you are the best at any and all games that they dare challenge you at? Or have you ever wanted to drift a space pirate ship though speeding asteroids like a galactic jack sparrow? This game can give you all of that and more . the Doctor approves

This was a very charming party game and you can tell a lot of love went into it. The game reminds me of classic arcade games like Asteroid and Sinistar. It's a formula that's stood the test of time and it feels fresh here because of the PVP party game angle The soundtrack was well composed and has this really nice spacey feel to it that fits vibes of the game perfectly. The different types of ships were fun to play too, it provided a nice variety between matches. I like how the asteroids are incorporated into the gameplay loop. They add a lot of options to how you approach combat as you can use them as cover, or you can try and bait your opponents into them. I think the game could be improved in four areas. I wish there was a little more substantial differences between ships. The pirate ship is a good example of this as it has a different firing pattern that completely changes your strategy when you use it. I wish there was just a bit more content, be it in the form of different stages or maybe game modes. I think any couch coop game would greatly benefit from an online mode as most users won't have the setup to do local play. And finally I wish the main menu had a little more sp…

"SKIRMISH" is a rather pointless ripoff of the first video game, 1962's SpaceWar!... except this is somehow even worse. Like SpaceWar!, gameplay is just top down shooting against nobody, because if you ask your friends to play shovelware like this, you soon won't have any friends. What about online, you say? Well, online gameplay is perhaps beyond the skillset of some amateur developers, so this is a "party game". And this is where we learn something valuable for indie developers, if you don't understand networking, and also don't want to/don't know how to create single player content, just call your game a "party game". See how easy it is? The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations bein…
