Players praise "I Love Finding Critters" for its beautiful, varied scenes, clever dual-scene mechanics, abundant minigames including spot-the-difference and jigsaw puzzles, and charming animal collection system. The main complaint centers on overly strict time limits requiring fast clicking to earn gold stars, with some players finding the difficulty demands excessive, though others enjoy replaying to improve their scores; minor issues include occasional awkward object naming and some challenging puzzle placements.
"I Love Finding Critters" is a hidden object game. It's very interesting, with beautiful different scenes, an abundance of objects and countless minigames. What I'm particularly fond of, is the duality of scenes; we get a scene within a scene to alternate between, all while the items we are asked to find can be found in either of the two (the items for the active scene are black and for the secondary become greyed out). Most, if not all, of the scenes require to find extra items from those listed that either morph or are.. hidden animals! It's worth trying to get the most of the extra items and completing the scenes with a good score as there are unlockable animals through them. Find and adopt pets! Apart from interesting game design, it has so many different minigames.. You will never get bored. All of them are interesting and entertaining. The tutorial has been done well too and it does a very good job of explaining how things work. The zoom in and out feature works wonders here! But, if for whatever reason, you are stuck, use the hint system. There is also a multiplier system and the game won't punish you if you misclick. Simplistic but cute menu, pretty scenes and even more …3 found this helpful

This isn't a bad HOG...lots of animals, brightly lit scenes, challenging puzzles in between HOS and spot the difference games. While I liked that the developer wasn't afraid to incorporate snakes and spiders, those who have phobias will want to stay away from this because there's definitely quite a few tarantulas and assorted snakes to find and even adopt in the critter adoption area. My main quibble with this game is how fast you have to click to find all the hidden objects in a HOS. If you don't clear the scene in less than what I'm guessing is just 30 seconds, you won't get a gold star. This seems to be the case with any of the I Love Finding series, as I have the 2 cat games too. If you replay the levels enough, you'll get there, but that seems overly demanding.2 found this helpful
im addicted to finding those darn things !!!!!!!!
Another entry in a great series! I played I Love Finding Cats & Pups on a different platform and adored it. Compared to Cats & Pups, this is on the easy side. Wonderful mix of conspicuous and well-hidden objects... Fun, straightforward scoring system... And the visuals are surprisingly coherent for a hidden object game. That's a low bar to clear, but you'd be surprised how few of these games have objects that actually blend in to the environment. Love the other two game modes as well. The spot-the-difference puzzles are fast and furious, and the jigsaw puzzles use creative layouts and input methods. Minor complaints: sometimes the objects are given strange names. The puzzles in the butterfly album (a formality to track an optional collectible) are oddly difficult to place. Moderate complaint (and strategy spoiler):
while the game allows you to solve puzzles at your own pace, speed is encouraged through the scoring system. You get score bonuses for using fewer hints, but using hints as they charge is a valid strategy for reaching score thresholds. Just feels weird to get 3/3 stars by spamming hints.
Simple game, but relaxing to play
