I Will Escape

Bought this for €13 on the day it came out. I know one of the guys that worked on this and I wanted to support him by buying this. I know my friend poured his heart and soul into this and that is why I held my tongue at the time. Four years later it catches my eye again and it reminded me how sad it was that this game sucked so much. It wasn't worth the money in 2014 and it still isn't now. Programming on it was largely done by interns that were rotated out every few months and it shows. Technically it is unfinished, the AI sucks, the game is buggy and hardly playable. The story is bland. "Puzzles" are poorly designed and a couple of times I dind't know where to go despite the linear level design. I got further than most players before giving up. It had potential, but the owner of Blue Label Studio mismanaged the project. Rotating employees out too often and releasing the game before it was finished because the studio ran out of money. I think the saddest part is that my friend never got paid for all the work he put in. He was promised a % of the sales as salary. That ofc didn't happen since the company went bankrupt shortly after release. I feel cheated for buying this. …

Game is pretty fun main mechanics are based around simple stealth an path memorization of guards, but the game can be quite challenging and fun most of the time It has a rich environmental storytelling and a pretty neat atmosphere Although I have to say that the levels can sometimes get a little repetitive. It's still a fun casual game that can offer hours of entertainment

This game is BAD and i am sorry for everyone that worked on this and probably didint get paid. I bought it for the only fact that it uses the BlenderGameEngine. nontheless is really bad.
