Ice Cream Killer

"Ice Cream Killer" is a simple, mediocre 2D retro pixel platformer (sigh). There's nothing unique or interesting about this apart from that it's free... so if you want a bad platforming experience, I guess you don't have to fork out any money on any of the literal thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. The game is easy to learn and proves to be a lot of fun. Cartoon graphics and 90s-style music. All wrapped up in this must-have gem. Really nice penguin with his floor-smashing beak.

I didn't play for long, but it was not bad experience. Collect every ice cream, go in the ice cream truck and that's 15 times in a row, if u lose 3 lifes* u die. Nothing unique, very simple mechanics. I think game lacks something unique, good replayability and better AI, because it's very dumb and can't jump. I do like penguin design (he is so chill) and simplicity of the game. I think it would be better to have this game on the phone than pc. But it's a free game so W game, nice to try.

Finally i beat this stupid game. it was TOO HARD! you only get 3 lives and no continues. if you're touched once you're dead and the AI is somewhat predictable but sometimes its not. i'll give you credit though , the fact that it made me want to beat it means that it did something right.
